AccessGR is a nonprofit founded by business professionals in Grand Rapids, dedicated to improving access to technology and reducing e-waste.
In addition to our efforts, we also host educational workshops that focus on teaching digital literacy skills.
What Do We Do?
Step 1: Gather discarded or unused computers from members of the local community and businesses.
Step 2: Repair any problems, enhance the storage and RAM, and set up a new operating system (Linux Mint or Windows 11).
Step 3: Distribute the refurbished computers to individuals and organizations in need throughout Michigan.
